| More effective CCIs for more dynamic regions |
| |
In a changing world, CCIs share the features
of economic democracy. They are local units which are justified
by their electoral legitimacy and express a collective interest
that is similar to companies’ individual needs. |
CCIs, their members and corporate managers
together contribute to establishing and implementing a territorial
economic development project. |
|
The CCIs are requesting changes in legislative
and regulation texts, which, by giving them more freedom, would
increase their responsibility and effectiveness. This is the origin
of the following proposals in their main spheres of action : |
• training : towards sustainable
training, enabling each person to achieve increased control
over his or her career and the company to better manage its human
skills. |
• management of collective facilities
: towards modernisation of the system of concessions
and the creation of predominantly state-owned public limited companies. |
• support to companies : towards "CCIs
as the real home of the company", the main address
for creators and buyers. |
On the occasion of the present government decentralisation
project, the CCIs feel they should be systematically consulted and
involved into local, regional and national economic projects. |
